I'm rather disappointed...

That I have been posting much more than you.  YOU the one who was yelling at me to post more on the blog.  I get on at school with nothing to do and...What do I find? Still nothing to do. Luckily, blogger.com isn't blocked.  Maybe because we use this website for Media Analysis.
Six minutes left.
Here, it's your study hall note.  You know, like when Kelly was in France?  I sent her study hall notes.  Now I'm just going to be bored and ramble for a bit.  You did know that we were out of heat for two days right?  I have no idea how people do it.  It would suck to be homeless.  It was 46 degrees in the house.  You are very lucky that you missed that. You would have been mad...a complainer...but that's okay, we will get all of that after you return home :D NEXT WEEK!
Heather, you need to post before you leave.  Please?  A good luck wish...
Mwahs.

Board-O-Rama...Still On!

Alright so...should I back it up a bit or start from today?  I suppose I can back it up a bit...
Jeremy's 18th birthday was nice for him, I know it!  I went to the mall with him and he got his job at Hollister.  I wandered the mall while he watched videos and did all those things that Hollister employees do.  Can you believe he got a job at Hollister?? Neither can I!  It will be better than pizzaria...at least, I hope it will be...
So after that...Well, I think we went to my house for a little bit and later on we went back to his where his mother made him dinner.  See! He got a home cooked meal which is something that he never gets. We played Wii bowling for a while and watched Grown Ups.  It was a good night. :)
Today was a very heckish day.  For one, the necklace that momma and dadda bought me from Grenada broke in school, which was a major blow.  Then my papers flew off my desk.  Ok, that isn't the worst deal in the world, but it was still somewhat agitating.  All day I was preparing my public speaking manuscript because...okay backtracking now:
On monday the outline was supposed to be due but the substitute told us that it was actually going to be do on Tuesday with the manuscript.  My public speaking teacher told us that we weren't going to be doing a manuscript for this speech.  Then he goes on to tell us that our speeches are going to be on Wednesday.  So I guess my speech is tomorrow and there is no way I'm prepared for it.  Now EVERYTHING is due tomorrow.  We aren't allowed flashcards on this speech because she wanted us to memorize it.  How were we going to memorize a ten minute speech in two days?  Well, now I have an evening and a school day.  Fantastic.  My topic is Wicca, which I already know a lot about, but I want to be able to explain myself clearly enough to the class.  Sigh.
But before that I had government, which was okay because we just took a quiz and wrote an essay the whole class about the Dresden Holocaust of WWII.  We had a reading on it that was assigned to us on Wednesday and it was interesting enough, so I had loads to say on the essay.  I went to hand in my essay and my government teacher cornered me about the board game web cam thing that I was going to do with Alexis.  Alexis didn't want to do it anymore because she wanted to do something with animals or cats, I believe she's doing Tabby Town, a new cat store in the mall (the kitties are sooo cutee in there!!!).  I told him that we had spoken about it and weren't sure if we were still going to do the web cam thing.  He assured me that if at least one of us still wanted to do it, we could find a friend in whatever class and still continue, and he'd help. I felt very guilty after this talk because I still wanted to do it and still wasn't sure where I was going to volunteer.  Good news: Laura said she'd do it with me!  So now I can go to government tomorrow and tell him that I found a friend! Woohoo!  No doubt, it's going to be a lot of work.  I'm pretty sure it's going to happen after your return home-probably the week I'm off from school for Christmas break.

So that is my life right now.
<3 you!

On this elaborately snowy evening

I have been blessed with the capacity to not give a shit if I get my homework done this evening.  You see, our snow day today was awesome and long, and if we get another (it could go either way...snow is flying again right now), my weekend will be, obviously made.
Tomorrow is Jeremy's 18th birthday.  Wooohoo!!  I need to wrap his gifts.  I will before I climb into bed.  Right now he is out plowing with his father...well not actually plowing, the plows have broke and they have to shovel for the people that hired them...doesn't that suck?  I feel like they're doing it in vain.  At least they're trying!  So they're going to be doing that until six tomorrow morning.
Sooo I'm stuck swimming this year because your favorite gym teacher in the world, little miss Rock dear, didn't tell us we were going to be swimming until the day before Turkey Day.  Which meant I couldn't get a doctors note because I'm pretty dang sure most offices were closed for the long weekend.  I didn't mind so much until I got to gym on tuesday and she announced that those who aren't swimming will be reading a book about something...athletic or competition (It could be the Hunger Games! So that means it could be fictional!) while the other students are swimming.  When they finish those books they are allowed to read WHATEVER THEY WANT for the whole period!  I AM SO FREAKING JEALOUSSSSSSS.  I hope I break out in a rash or my face gets super super blotchy.  I WANT TO TAKE PART IN THIS AWESOME AWESOME PROJECT.  I went up to her and told her what a great idea it was...and she basically said "mhm" and looked away...I think she holds a grudge, Heatherkins, and I somewhat...SOMEWHAT...place the blame on my dear miss Rock sister...
You'll be home soon!  I have my driving test in a few weeks! And me and Laura built a snowman today and named it Jackie.  You see, we weren't sure if it were a gal or guy.  It looks like an evil snow man though...I took pictures and will hopefully put them up soon.  If it turns out to be Jack Frost, at least it lives closer to Laura than me...
I love you so very much heatherkins<3 I should go off and do my homework...hmmm...maybe, maybe not =D.
I love you to death!

On This Fine November Saturday...

I am blogging while eating a OVEN BAKED SANDWICH !!!! I haven't had one of these in weeks, it is great!  For once I can taste the hot sauce and the cheese is WARMMMMMMM!!!! yay!!!
AND today I had my final driving lesson! Now I get to sign up for my road test! I'm so excited....All that is left to do is pass...heh...
It was a nice farewell from Earl though.  He was very proud!
My lips are chapped.  It still hasn't snowed.  My application should be out by the end of this week.  At least that's what I'm aiming for...I need to finish my essay.  I have three started but neither are very good.  Do you have any suggestions?  Is there anything that you think I should write about?  (And serious things, not joke things!)  Is France still treating you well?  I am very excited for your return!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the rest of the afternoon.  This evening I'll do some college stuff, but I want to give myself some time to relax for now.
Okay, I really don't have much to talk about.
Harry Potter was awesome, as predicted.  I cried my eyes out.  Jeremy said I was a bit delirious after the show...I guess I was crying and laughing and say things that didn't make sense...but hey, what's really new about that?
I like the fall =] But I want snow.
I'm making my christmas list! If you have time to, make yours and send it to me via facebook.  I'll give it to mother for you.
I love you!

Beside the Candlelight...

Sits a small, unfriendly looking high school teen.  Her hair is damp and recklessly wavy.  She sits crossed leggedly on the new brown couch in the sweats that Carl got for her for christmas and in a Donate Life t-shirt.  Ahh, and she is listening to the rain as it trills to the earth outside the grimy glass windows!  That girl would be I, the narrator of this awesome blog for awesome Sister Heather.  And I welcome you back into the life of the pmsing little brat.
Ahem, anyway I have again finished a plate of provolone cheese with hot sauce on the top.  This time the cheese didn't melt, it more like continued to freeze.  The thermometer reads 49 and hey, I really wouldn't doubt it.
I stayed after today for the second Still Life meeting of the year and then realized that I would be walking home.  With this thought in mind I glanced out the window and saw massive drops of water being released from some oversaturated cloud.  45 minutes later I was walking through the long gym hallway toward the Freemen gym doors (and overheard a few girls behind me talking about my penguin backpack and debating whether or not they should ask where I got it.  They didn't.  I suppose I'm that intimidating Senior.) thinking that possibly the rain had calmed.  I reached the door and gave a sigh...a long, heavy, tired sigh...the rain was commencing to splash the pavement of the parking lot.  This wouldn't have been so bad if I would've thought about this circumstance this morning when leaving the house to hop into Jeremiah's car.  But alas, I didn't think of it so I just had on a fuzzy off-the-shoulder shirt.  I carried Louis the Pego Penguin in a Tops plastic bag so he wouldn't get wet.  I started my journey in the wetness, hoping that some nice old soul would offer me a ride (of course I wouldn't take one from someone I didn't recognize!!).  I trudged onto Poplar and made it down half the hill when my pleas for love and peace were answered!!  The mom at the house with all the kids stopped and gave me a ride home!! Her and her daughter were so nice and I sat next to a little munchin. =D.  Oh, it definately gave me delight!
Ahem, so now I'm home and I'm drinking Hazelnut coffee.  I lit a candle that smells like apple and cinnamon and the puppy is chewing and licking her paws on the green rocking chair.  I am planning on doing a little research on the Rwanda genocide because I decided that I'm going to do an informative speech on it.  I was originally going to do it on random religions of the world but I changed it to the Rwanda genocide because I think it holds a lot of importance since it was a while before the world stepped into Rwanda and it has been a while for Darfur.  I'm excited to finally see Hotel Rwanda!  Mrs. Lullo and Mr. Ayers both told me to watch it and I've been wanting to since Amy saw it in her Honors Global 9 course.  Now is my excuse!
I might do some homework after that but I really want to read some Harry Potter.  I'm reading the Order of the Phoenix at the moment. I always forget how amazing those books are!!

We love you Heather and we miss you!!  I miss your beautious face!!
I shall write soon.

Thursday and Onward!

This blog may be short because my computer can die whenever and my cord for it has decided that it no longer feels like charging it.  So, instead of spending $60 dollars on a new cord, I'm simply going to wait it out until it absolutely have to.  Ahem.
Thursday I donated my blood, wahoooo.  The women who poked me decided she wanted to take blood out of my left arm instead of the usual right.  Can I just say that it was painful?  When she put the needle in I cringed and blood squirted out.  I was weak as usual after the donation and my arm was only a little bruised, which is no biggie.  However, Saturday I woke up and found I had a humungus bruise on my arm!  I'm going to take a picture of it for you, it's that bad!  Grandma thinks that she hit an artery.  Point is, I can barely sleep on my arm because it hurts so much.
Saturday I went to that dance called Night Craze that I told you about before.  It was all good and fun until afterwards when my body decided it wanted to get sick.  So Jeremy had to pull into the Valvoline parking lot or however the hell you spell it, I opened the door and threw up.  A cop then pulled over and suspicously asked what was going on.  After he realized that I was legitly sick he wished Jessie and Jeremy good luck and drove off!! Jeeze, I felt loved.
Um, what else.
Today a girl came over to my lunch table and pretty much insulted me to my face... I think she was a freshman.  Don't you hate them?
My bruise still hurts...ouchie )=.  And one of my teachers even asked if I was being abused!!!!
And we got your post cards today, yay!!
And we all miss you and mocha says hi =].  I need to eat some food and write a blog post for Media Analysis.  Grrr.
I don't know if anything else interesting has happened.

Much Love,
Shannannanananananananans

First Football Sunday. (Save us.)

I am perfectly aware that the last post was late by...at least five days.  Well, it's there now!!  The television is on...and so is the Bills.  Awesome.  And guess what?  As of now, we are losing!  Shocker!  But I feel I have to sit in the family room and watch because mother made dips, a dessert, and we are making our own subs later.  Oh mother, she sure knows how to guilt trip...
Cornelia Funke's new book comes out on Tuesday!  Me and KK are quite excited.  Oh, and yesterday was a Disney Movie Night.  We watched Snow White and Pocahontus.  If you need an explanation, Anna was over. =D
Oh Gosh, cheerleaders...
Hmm...
I had my first open campus experience on Thursday.  I walked to Alexis's house and lounged there for the period.  We made it back to the school with two minutes to spare. Go us!  I have Calahan for gym and we're doing archery, which is always amusing.  And my awesome boyfriend brought me some Timmy Hoes on Friday from his open, but it sadly had to sit in my gym locker for a period before I could pour it down my deprived throat...But that's okay, it totally made my fifth period. =D
Umm...I had some homework this weekend?  For Media Analysis I had to write about a show that I watched growing up and how I found I related to it.  I talked about Buffy!  Of course!  Soooo relatable.  And I had to read a chapter in my Speech book.  Yay.  Hmmm...What else?  Oh, I finished some math problems and totally aced that homework.  I have a poster to finish for Sociology and mother needs to sign something for government.  Woopie.
And you finally have coffee!!! Congrats!!  I'm gonna need some myself...
And I went driving last night and thought several times that mother was going to jump out the car...I'm supposed to go again tonight, but we'll see how that works out.

=D
muchos love,
<3

I should really shower...

But the dreary day is making me want to stay wrapped in a blanket in a hoodie and sweats.  France is gray, Buffalo is gray, so you're not missing out.  Though maybe those clouds will shed some rain onto the streets of France.  Too many sunny days can be depressing too, you know!

Anyway, yesterday was the first day of Senior year.  I felt like a pro, waking up at six in the morning, putting on my Senior T-Shirt, and meeting Jeremy at the door (with coffee and a bagel in his hands!!).  Mother took the usual first-day-of-school pictures and when I stepped inside Jeremy's car, Mest was playing!  It was too perfect.  We got to the school at 6:45 because Jeremy wanted the "best spot" in the parking lot.  I'm not going to lie, I felt pretty powerful in my Senior shirt.

The annual assembly dragged.  The rest of the day was okay.  I believe open campus offically begins tomorrow.  We're a good class ;).

Errr, today was fine.  Actually, I'm enjoying the majority of my classes.  I think I'm going to like Media Analysis because it's doing what I always do when I watch television...Analyze why the people who made the show or commercial added in certain colors or characters.  Tomorrow we are talking about shows that have formed us as people.  I'm not going to lie, I may feel a bit awkward saying that Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 24 were really important to me, growing up...

Personal Finance is great so far-we've done nothing.  I sit next to Jeremy at the back of the room.  Sidney and Joanna sit in front of us, so it makes for a pretty good time.  I'm legitly looking forward to the class material.  He has already given away several money making tips and I want to know more!  Because I'm awesome and greedy like that.

Intermediate Algebra is just...math.  I had a minor freakout today when my teacher told us to do a few problems.  My head went fuzzy and I couldn't think straight.  I was so stressed out about doing a math problem in class that I forgot what to do!  I did the math homework at home and feel better...I may start some breathing techniques to calm myself down in the future...

Umm sociology is fine, government has been okay but my teacher likes to give us lectures on how we all believe the news when it only lies.  I actually like Public Speaking.  It's a very small class and I have no friends, but it works for me.

Bowling, Senior Tie-Dye, etc.

May I first mention that, Heather, I am very jealous of this awesome book store you ventured to.  Take some pictures?  I'm dying to see the inside!!  Ohhh, my dreams of owning an awesome book store have just increased!  And it sounds you bought some awesome books.  Who could resist a book in FRENCH making fun of George Bush?  Sounds delightful.
If you ever did go off to the beach, how was it?

Anyway, since Mike was sick on Thursday I went bowling with Jessie, Jeremy, and Jeremy's friend Poogie.  Poogie is actually Connor, that kid I had religion with.  Anyhow, we went to the Orchard Park Lanes but it turned out that they were closed that evening so we ended up driving to the Abbott Lanes.  It was nice because there was only one other lane being used on our side of the building and we were able to be as obnoxious as we wanted.  After our first few bowls I went to the counter to get some pepsi for everyone and the bartender asked me why we were spending such a nice Thursday evening inside an unairconditioned building, bowling!  I told her that it was definately better than being at home without airconditioning anyway.  For a moment she agreed with me and then voiced that she'd rather be home enjoying the heat than at her job and that me and my friends were wasting the nice weather away...Obviously, she likes to voice her opinions.  This didn't bother me because she realized that it was "good for making tips," quite sarcastically =D.  Poor woman.

After two games of bowling we quickly realized that I was the worst bowler out of the group.  Go me!  My high score was probably a 70 something haha, it was pretty intense.  We played four games of bowling and it costed 24 dollars because there were four of us.  If there would have been two of us it would have been 12 dollars.  It was worth it though, we had a pretty fun time and we split the cost.  We definately want to go bowling again soon!

The next day was Senior Tie-Dye.  Jeremy parked his car at my house and we walked together to the High School, died a bit from the heat, found no cool people there, and went to be Jessie up her street.  Dying coming back, we finally got in line to do our shirts.  So we got a bit messie, signed the banner, ate some icy cream, and a group of people came back to my place for the party.  The party was pretty fun besides for the fact that right when me and some other peeps were going to go swimming, it down poured.  We would have still gone in if it wouldn't have been thundering.  Anyhow, later on it cleared up, we went in the pool, called it the WALK OF SHAMEEEEEEE when someone hit the ball out of the pool and had to go retrieve it, and I had fun hitting the ball to my imaginary friend Casper.  We watched Zombieland, played Uno, did all those things that teenagers do at partys...well, okay.  We aren't the "cool" kids who drink and do drugs.  Other than that, we had a pretty normal partying style for the evening.

Anyhow, the next day was Saturday and I wrung out my dyed shirt and put it in the wash.  It turned out that most of it is white.  I inquired with out people about their shirts and the all said that theirs was exactly like mine.  So all in all, I suppose it was successful.  I went to JOanne's with Jeremy and saw Jessie and Angela there too.  We bought some decorating thingies and went back to my house, where Jeremy decided to use some of his iron on stencil thingies that he purchased.  Then we got bored and wanted to go to the rink (well okay, I wasn't in the best of moods because of mother nature's wonderful gift.  I was dragged but ended up having a really good time).  So Jeremy called Jessie and we went to Frank Young's, where there was actually some hockey shimbizz going on.  We ended up going to Skateland which is all the way out in Lockport.  We even went past the drive-in that mother didn't want me and Jeremy to go to earlier in the summer!  It was $15 for each person but we had a coupon from the Entertainment book that mommy buys so we paid 30 dollars for three people.  We got in and they were serving unlimited drinks and pizza all night!  We were able to rollerblade, do Lazer Tag, and bounce in the bounce house, and eat, and drink! all night!!!  Anyhow, Jeremy got a bit defensive when some kid in a red shirt kept checking me out, but it just showed he cares =].  So that was fun.  I don't feel like going into every single detail.  Um, Jeremy had a fan club.  Little like 14 year olds.  Yeah...

Yesterday I decorated my shirt.  I'll post pictures when I feel like uploading them from my camera.  Um, Tomorrow is the first day of my Senior Year.  What the eff, why?

Love you Heather!!!  Summer went by supperrrr fast!!!

Weird Thursday

It is 10 o'clock in the morning and this Thursday is already spinning out of weirdness.  First weird of the day consists of having driving lessons at 12.  This may not seem weird to you Heatherkins, but I assure you that driving through Orchard Park for my first time will, most likely, be a weird experience.  *ahem* continuing...
The second weird of the day came about when mother came up to my room around 7 to deliver the news that the computer in the family room wasn't letting her log onto her work screen, so mother sadly had to go in.  Poor mother.
Now for the third weird.  I assure you, this is the ultimate weird.  This weird hasn't occured since...Well, I'm not really sure when.  After pulling myself out of bed and thumping down the stairs to the bathroom so my bladder could have peace, I did indeed go straight for (sorry Heather) the coffee pot.  Below the coffee pot was a note...MIKE HAS CANCELED GUITAR LESSONS FOR TODAY!!!!  According to beloved Sister Kelly, Mike is sick and "sounded like Uncle Joe."  With this in mind I laughed hysterically, felt pretty bad for Mike, and continued on the coffee drinking rampage.
In conclusion (yay Middle School essay writing), I have named this day Weird Thursday.  Weird Thursday would not have been possible without Mike's help.  Poor Mike.
In other news...
The refrigerator has stopped working.  Dun dun dun....But really.  So mother called Sears yesterday to see when they could come to fix it and they told her Wednesday.  Next week Wednesday...Um, no.  Sorry Sears, but we need to eat!  So there goes all of our food and dreams of dips and things for my party tomorrow(no, I'm actually being a bit melodramatic about the dips.  I'm sure we'll still get them.).  These Sears employees are definately not as awesome as you are Heather.  Best shoe saleswoman EVER.
Anyhow, my eyes are still a bit tired from sleeping and I may grab a bit more coffee.  It's going to be another hot day, it's already 79.  And today is also me and Jeremy's 5 month =D. We may celebrate it later with bowling. Wooooppieeee!!!!!

Love you Heather, I shall return soon!

Welcome, Sister Heather!

Yes Heather, I did indeed just cause the assumption that you are currently in France, spending your days in the Mediteranean studying God's love and forgiveness, as a nun.  Congrats!  You should be proud of this achievement.

I am sitting on the new green recliner, sipping coffee and eating pieces of provolone cheese with the smokey flare of Mike's hot sauce skillfully applied to their sleek cheese sides.  I have only been sitting for a moment but it is so warm that the cheese is already soft.  The thermometer reads 91 degrees, although earlier in the day it reached 94.  Thankfully, the fan is blowing a delightful breeze in my direction.  The back door is open; A bird obnoxiously chirps.

It is now one week until I start my Senior year of High School.  I peek into the dreadful future and find the thought of Senior Tie-Dye day calms my nerves.  At least I can make a mess with some friends on Friday and spend the rest of the afternoon swimming and running wild with those who have decided they'd like to attend my party! The goal to annoy the neighbors with our screeches remains. It is OUR TURN! =D

It has now been several weeks since our beloved Sister Heather has left for France.  Indeed, she is not at all a Sister but a Sister.  That's right.  My sister!  Being updated by her France blog has inspired me to share my experiences of my first semester through senior year to Heather by use of the same medium.  No Heather, this does not mean that I won't be sending letters.  You'll probably recieve many stupid ones...I'm bound to get bored on Open.  And when I say "stupid" I MEAN stupid.  Don't be surprised if it's a run down of the classes I hate or random jumbled thoughts of "dude, I'm hungry...Why did I not pack a lunch today?...Why can't anyone have a car..."

Orchard Park is the same as ever, Heather!  I had my first driving lesson on Monday.  My instructor's name is Earl and he is a cute old man who definately seems to have an interesting history.  He has traveled to Europe many times!  He took me to Chestnutt Ridge where he told me to follow the road and then he taught me how to back up and turn my wheel: push-pull and hand-over-hand (um, I think that's what they're called. Forgive me if my unintelligent side has just showed herself).  While we were there we saw Corrections kids doing some sort of park duty.  It was somewhat alarming until I realized the bright orange suits were the only aspect of their appearance that looked lethal.  Anyhow, Earl was going to have me drive home but decided he didn't want to break my confidence.  He explained that since it was near lunch, Orchard Park may be bustling and stressful to drive through.  All in all he told me that I was doing a great job. =D  Points for Shannon!

As the afternoon dwindles to evening I will relieve my fingers from the keys of Avril-Cherrie the Pink Laptop (no, that was NOT an attempt to name her something French. After seeing it in type, I decided that leaving her as only Avril WAS a bit stalkerish, thus the name extension.)

Hehe, I'm having a lot of fun with this...
And Jeremy says "Hi!" and so does Mocha!  Everyone sends their love!  I shall return...

-Shannie!<3
